Many may wonder what the benefit of having an ILF,,which is International Limb fitting?

Hoyt made this fitting to begin with and called it HDS or Hoyt Dovetail System.

A wide variety of limb makers soon followed suit and it became the standard for Olympic shooters and Competitive Archers worldwide.

ILF limbs come in a variety of lengths but the most popular are Shorts, Mediums and Longs.

Shorts are best with the shorter draw lengths and mediums for the 28, 29's and Longs for 28 or more.

My draw length is 28 but I enjoy the stack free, finger pinch free length of medium limbs.

To calculate Bow length with these limbs just add 42 for shorts, 44 for mediums and 46 for longs to your riser length. Say for a 21 inch riser 21+42 will give you a 62 inch Bow - 1 inch for the tips and you have the 62 length.
